Video production for me started in 2004 at Cal State San Bernardino where I began my journey as a videographer and director. I got hands-on experience on how to operate a camera in addition to how-to video edit and write movies and live shows in script format. I was so amazed by the content that it inspired me to pursue a major in Mass Communications at CSUSB. I obtained my BA in Mass Communications in 2007. Later, I worked for the Government recording Top Secret videos for the DOD (Department of Defense). It was during this time; I started a small company called Holly Hood Productionz where we shot and edited music videos for independent artists with small budgets. Here is where I got even more hands-on experience which included shooting, directing, and editing up to 20 music videos from all genres. I worked on movie sets as a videographer and a part of the lighting crew.
After starting a family, I took a break from videography and explored the security camera technology industry, and started a successful company installing security cameras for commercial and residential properties. However, my passion for filming never died, and was reborn into what is known as SVM (Supreme Vision Media). At SVM, video production is not just a job it’s our passion and we strive to create high-quality products that compete with industry standards.
